Le deuxième Forum mondial de l’Unesco sur la culture et les industries culturelles, Focus 2011, s’est achevé le 8 juin à Monza (Lombardie, Italie). De nombreux acteurs internationaux de tous horizons – écrivains, bibliothécaires, universitaires, acteurs de l’économie numérique, etc. – ont pu échanger leurs points de vue sur l’édition aujourd’hui et les répercussions à venir de la révolution numérique. Trois thèmes ont été principalement abordés : comment le droit d’auteur pourrait ou devrait évoluer dans un nouvel environnement de libre accès, les nouveaux rôles des bibliothèques, l’accès et l’appropriation du matériel numérisé et les pratiques de lecture des nouvelles générations.
